My Philosophy
I work from the understanding that our relationships — with ourselves, others, and the broader contexts we inhabit — shape how we experience life. For this reason, I place strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. When trust, honesty, and courage are present in the room, therapy becomes a place where meaningful change can take root. Together, we work toward shifts that feel tangible and meaningful in your everyday life.
Many clients come to me feeling stuck in cycles of conflict, disconnection, people-pleasing, self-doubt, or fear of abandonment. Others are navigating the impact of early relational injuries, grief, life transitions, or past experiences that continue to shape how they feel, relate, and respond to others.Therapy offers space to slow down, make sense of these patterns, and begin relating to yourself and others in new ways.

Therapy is a place where you can be yourself, for yourself, without the pressures of everyday life. I strive to create an open, curious space, infused with humour and honest reflection. Together, we explore the complexities of what makes you you, and work toward a deeper understanding of what you are experiencing. My role is not only to understand your perspective but, when helpful, to offer observations that deepen insight and open new possibilities.
Each person carries the capacity to adapt and endure, yet many lose trust in their own inner resources over time. My aim is to help you understand patterns of behaviour that no longer serve you, reconsider limiting beliefs, and reconnect with your creativity, courage, and curiosity so you can move through life with greater confidence, flexibility, and intention.
How I Work
I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Existential Therapy, and Adlerian Psychotherapy, all within a trauma‑informed and relational framework. These approaches help me understand symptoms such as anxiety, emotional reactivity, or shutdown not as personal failings, but as adaptive strategies that once helped you cope with earlier experiences. I prioritize offering clients:
– Deep attunement and genuine care
– Collaborative, client‑paced exploration
– Evidence‑based therapeutic methods
– Curiosity, creativity, and emotional insight
– A strong, safe, stable therapeutic environment
I attend closely to my clients’ emotional worlds, helping them understand longstanding patterns of meaning, connection, and adaptation — always with informed consent and at a pace that feels safe.
